6 Mortal Kombat Crossovers I would like to see

With the eleventh game in the Mortal Kombat franchise being released last week fans are already speculating on what guest characters will be released as DLC. We’ve had the Xenomorph, Predator, Freddy Krueger and others. The question is: Who’s next? While I could do a list of fighters I would like to see as DLC for MK 11 I thought I would do something different and list some full-blown crossovers with Mortal Kombat I would like to see. I’ll also list some guest fighters that could be featured instead.

Mortal Kombat vs Star Wars: I’ve wanted this crossover for awhile and I even wrote a post about it awhile ago, but this one is not likely to happen with Disney holding the rights to Star Wars, but still I want to see Darth Vader mix it up with the likes of Sub-zero and Scorpion

Possible Guest Fighters: Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Boba Fett, Chewbacca

Mortal Kombat vs Marvel: Another unlikely candidate, but I still think this would be fun to see.

Possible Guest Fighters: Deadpool, Punisher, Hulk, Wolverine, Spiderman

Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter: I’m a little surprised this hasn’t happened already with both of them popular fighting franchises from the 90s still going strong. I will admit that their two styles might not mesh well, but if a middle ground could be found between the two, I think it would be fun

Possible guest characters: Ryu, Chun-li, Vega, M. Bison

Mortal Kombat vs Soul Calibur: Another fighting game series from the 90s that is still popular today I think Soul Calibur would actually work better with Mortal Kombat than Street Fighter. Mortal Kombat did briefly add weapons in Deadly Alliance and Deception so it wouldn’t be implausible for them to do it again to fight more in-line with the Soul Calibur universe

Possible Guest Characters: Ivy, Nightmare, Cervantes, Tira

Mortal Kombat vs Injustice: I guess this would probably technically still be a sequel to 2009’s Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, but I think by setting it in the Injustice Universe within the DC Multiverse would combine the two of NetherRealm’s fighting franchise. Plus, it would be interesting to see an evil tyrant Superman go against the fighters of Earthrealm

Possible Guest Fighters: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl

Mortal Kombat vs TMNT: I don’t know how well this would work given the fact that TMNT just doesn’t have huge roster of recognizable characters. I could work as a comic miniseries though. I would probably just settle for seeing Splinter or Shredder as guest characters

Possible Guest Characters: Shredder, Splinter, Casey Jones

Bonus Games:
Mortal Kombat/Dynasty Warriors: This isn’t so much as crossover as a game set in the Mortal Kombat universe using the Dynasty Warriors formula. It would with Legend of Zelda with Hyrule Rules so I could see it maybe applying to Mortal Kombat and exploring one of the many wars fought within and between the realms of Mortal Kombat. A war between Earth realm and NetherRealm could be a good setting

Mortal Kombat Online: This is not a crossover, just a game I want to see. I think an MMORPG set within the realms of Mortal Kombat could be fun and allow us to dive deeper into the world. You can choose to join different factions such as the Lin Kuei, the Shirai Ryu, or even Special Forces. Initially I think the game would be set in either Earth Realm or Outworld with the other realms being unlocked or added as expansions later.

What do you think of my ideas? What Mortal Kombat crossovers do you want to see?

Some “Old Hero” Comics I would like to See

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Last post I did a recap of my 2018 predictions, but I figured I would do a little something different for this post.

Starting with Dark Knight Returns(and probably before that) comics have been taking a look at iconic heroes as the enter their so-called “golden years”. Now thanks to Old Man Logan, the recently ended Old Man Hawkeye, the currently running Old Lady Harley and the recently announced Old Man Quill the idea of aging superheroes coming out of retirement in a dystopia future has become more common place and its a trend I would like to see continue. Here are some heroes- both super and non-super I would like to see get the “Old Man” treatment.

Daredevil: This one is probably the most likely as it was teased at the end of Old Man Hawkeye when Hawkeye  runs into a new version of the character named Stick who is revealed to be Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. How did Matt survive what I’m going to call the “Hero Purge”? How did he come to adopt the name Stick? I think a miniseries exploring this and his training with Hawkeye as teased at the end of Old Man Hawkeye would be cool to see

Deadpool:  If any hero were to survive the Hero Purge besides Wolverine, Daredevil, and Hawkeye it would definitely be Deadpool. While Old Lady Harley is currently giving the “Dystopia Future Aging Hero” genre a humorous twist I feel like there’s also room for Deadpool to add a little levity to the dystopia universe set up in Old Man Logan.  This could also work as a standalone story.

Black Panther:  It is never explicitly  stated what happens to  T’chala the King of Wakanda in Old Man Logan or Old Man Hawkeye,  so it stands to my reasoning that he could have possibly avoided the Hero Purge and went into exile in his home nation of Wakanda. I think this leaves the door open for him to return once his home in threatened by superheroes and maybe him coming to grips with his mortality as he is the last of his genetic line and has no clear successor for the throne

Dr. Doom: Who’s to say the heroes should have all the fun. Victor von Doom has been one of my favorite villains since reading some early Fantastic Four comics as a kid and the idea of his adventures in the Old Man Logan universe is immensely intriguing to me.  He is mentioned in Old Man Hawkeye  and shown briefly in Old Man Logan and I think if any villain deserves their tale told it’s him.

Aquaman: Who says Marvel should have all the fun. Much like Black Panther Aquaman’s story would involve him retreating to his home nation and returning to action once it is threatened.

Green Lantern:  This story could most likely go by the Last Lantern  and deal with Hal Jordan(or possibly John Stewart) after they are left has the last Green Lantern(or possibly Lantern of any spectrum) after some event destroys the rest of the Green Lantern Corps and most of the Earth’s heroes have died. Now he wanders the universe in an attempt resurrect the Green Lanterns.

Han Solo/Princess Leia: Who says it just has to been superheroes who get the “Old Man” treatment. The last time we saw Han Solo he was being killed by his son and the next time we’ll see Leia will be in Episode IX, but with 30 years between Episode VI and Episode VII there is plenty of story for either character. A Han Solo adventure just before Force Awakens dealing with a smuggling job gone wrong would be cool to see.

James Bond: The story of an aging Bond has probably been done before, but not in comic form to the best of my knowledge. I would maybe keep the story in relative real-time according to the novels so set the story during the end of the Cold War with 007 last mission.

Mulder and Scully:  After the finale of season 11 I’m not sure if we’ll ever get a truly satisfying conclusion to the X-files, on TV that is, but that doesn’t mean a comic miniseries featuring both of them coming out of retirement for one last standalone mystery and maybe even introducing a whole new generation of X-files agents would be cool to see.

What do you think of my choices? What heroes would you like to see get the “Old Man” treatment.

That does it for me. As always, thanks for listening and any comments are welcome and appreciated.

Some Predictions for 2018

Hey everyone, we are just over 2 weeks in 2018 and as such I’ve been thinking about this year is headed, both personally and in other areas. That got me thinking about things I think might happen pop culture-wise this year. Some of this may turn out to be just wishful thinking, but here are just a few things I think might happen in 2018. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my predictions in the comments. Here are some of predictions for 2018 in no particular order

Rey and/or Kylo Ren will appear in Soul Calibur VI: Soul Calibur VI was announced last year for a 2018 release nearly 6 years after the last game which came out in 2012, well before Rey and Kylo Ren were introduced onto the  Star Wars scene. Soul Calibur already has a history of featuring Star Wars characters having featured Darth Vader, Yoda, and Vader’s Apprentice(from the Force Unleashed games) in Soul Calibur IV. While no Star Wars characters appeared in Soul Calibur V I could see the inclusion of Rey and Kylo for Soul Calibur VI even if it’s as DLC

Star Wars Episode IX Gets a title and it starts with an “Re” word:

With Episode IX coming out in May of 2019 instead of December I think we’ll see some announcements and teases for the conclusion to the Sequel Trilogy in the second half of this year, one of them being the title. If we follow the pattern set forth by the two previous third installments I think it will begin with an “Re” word, perhaps Resurrection. Then again The Last Jedi kind of broke the trend with Empire Strikes Back and Attack of the Clones, so we shall see

A collection of the original Spyro trilogy will be released: The Crash N. Sane Trilogy seemed to be a pretty decent success last year and I think perhaps that will convince Sony to release a collection of the first 3 Spyro games

We will see another 90s revival: Reviving 90s sitcoms seems to be pretty popular lately with shows like Fuller House and the upcoming Roseanne revival and I think we will see that trend continue in 2018. I’m partly hoping for a Seinfeld reunion, but I feel like Home Improvement will be the next 90s sitcom to make a return

The Fantastic Four and Guardians of the Galaxy will both return: The Fantastic Four was last seen in 2015 after the events of Secret War and the cancellation of their ongoing series and Guardians just ended their series with issue #150, but I think we will probably see both teams return by the end of the year most likely in the wake of whatever big event Marvel is leading to this summer. I think we’ll also see a slight change to the rosters of both teams with the Fantastic Four becoming the Fantastic Five with Franklin Richards officially becoming part of the team and I think the newly resurrected original Wolverine will end up becoming a Guardian as Earth has too many Wolverines already.

A Shortened Season 14 will be Supernatural’s last: As much as I love Supernatural I feel like it is getting a little long in the tooth and I think a final season needs to be planned out so the long-running show can get a proper send-off. I think a shortened season will allow for a more focused final season and also pave way for whatever spin-off the CW develops to come in as it’s midseason replacement.

Arrested Development Season 5 will be better than Season 4, but not as good as the original series: I’m a huge fan of Arrested Development(in case you can’t tell by my blog title) and this prediction is more based on opinion than fact, but after the weird format of Season 4 I think we’ll see a more back-to-basics Season 5(my guess is it will be released this summer. Maybe August) in 2018 that will still be good, but won’t quite be able to capture the magic of the first 3 seasons.

A New Mortal Kombat game will be announced:  There seems to be a new fighting game every two years from NetherRelm Studios, alternating between the Mortal Kombat and Injustice franchises and since Injustice 2 came out last year in 2017 I think we’ll see an announcement for a new Mortal Kombat game to be released in 2019. It will either be a continuation of the franchise or perhaps a sequel to Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe.

What do you guys think of my predictions? Do you have some of your own?

Some TV to Comic Adaptions I would like to see

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog. I hope you have been enjoying my Arrested Development Screenplay. I decided to take a break from that to post a more standard blog post(for me at least)

I’ve been done a few  comic-centric posts  with my Defenders pitch and Star Wars Comics I would like to see and I wanted to continue that thread with this post.

Today I’m talking about  TV shows I would like to see adapted as comic series. It seems to be a trend over the last few years in comics with X-files, Buffy, and Power Rangers, to name a few. And seeing these series has got me thinking of TV shows I would like to see revived in the comic book medium. Here they are in no particular order. Let me know what you think.

Heroes: This one seems like a no-brainer. Say what you will about the show, but it  still has some potential. It may never live back up to the promise of Season 1, but I think an ongoing series that takes place either between the main series and Heroes Reborn or after Heroes Reborn could be just what the franchise needs. A comic could bring back much-loved characters like Claire, Sylar and Peter without the hassle of actor scheduling and so forth. There was a rumored series just before Heroes Reborn was announced and I think continuing the story in comics is what Heroes needs.

Reaper: Like Heroes I think Reaper, a two season CW series that ended in 2009, lends itself well to a comic adaption and since the left the series on somewhat of a cliffhanger I think it a comic continuation would be fun to see.

My Name is Earl: I realize this suggestion is a little out there and I don’t know how well it would translate, but I want to see the My Name is Earl story wrapped up and if we can’t get another season or a movie this is the next best thing. I would also like to see a crossover mini-series with Raising Hope since we never really got a fully-fledged crossover when Raising Hope was on the air, although plenty of My Name is Earl actors showed up.

Knights of Prosperity: Despite only running for one 13-episode season Knights of Prosperity remains one of my favorite shows and I would like to see it continue in one way or another. Like My Name is Earl I’m not sure how well it would translate, but I feel like it could work. The show followed a gang of amateur themes whose goal is to steal from celebrities and the comic medium would allow them to feature which ever celebrity they want.

Those are a few of the TV to comic adaptions I would like to see. What shows would you like to see become comics?

Weekly Comic Pull List:

Speaking of Comics here’s what comics I’ll be picking up this week.

What I picked up Last Week:

Detective Comics #951: It was a slow week last week so this was the only comic I picked up, but still enjoyable

What I will be picking up this week:

X-files #11: I’ve been enjoying this new Contrarians storyline so I will continue to pick up X-files to read it

X-files Deviations #2:  I enjoyed the first deviations issue and I thought it was a standalone, but I’ll probably check this one out

Star Wars #29: I’m interested to read more of Yoda’s adventure.

What comics are you picking up this week?

Last Comedy Set:

I’m still at the comedy grind, averaging at least one set a week. Here’s my latest set last week from a showcase I did at a local theater. I apologize for the video quality.

Post end Poem: Here’s another poem I’ve been working on. Enjoy.

Sword of Fates

From the white cauldron

of the future

malevolent broth abounds.

Rancid scents sting her nostrils.

The sword of fates

will make her stronger,

but it will also weaken her.

The sword will be procured

from Dr. Funky,

curator of the weird

and gatekeeper

of the netherworld.

The golden sword

permeates her hands

with frigid ice

as it sings to her.

Faber est suae quisque fortunae

Dr. Funky whispers to

the formerly named girl

who will soon travel to Atlantis

after slaying Mari, the goddess of the sea.

Dr. Funky becomes a magnificent fire-breathing dragon.

She uses her allusion to slay him.

Where rests the white cauldron now?

She wonders as her journey begins.

Updated: Some Star Wars Games I would like to see

Update: I actually had an idea for another game I forgot to put in the original post that I thought I would include now

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog. Last post I talked about some Star Wars comics I would like to see and that got me thinking of another media I would like to see more star wars in: video games. There have been many great Star Wars video games(and some clunkers), but here are a few ideas for Star Wars games I would like to see, in no particular order.

A New X-wing Game: I’ve only really played  Jedi Starfighter , but the Star Wars X-wing games were a classic Star Wars series that I would like to see resurrected. I think a game focused on Black Squadron as introduced in the Poe Dameron comic would make for a good storyline set before the Force Awakens

A Star Wars Fighting Game: I know this has already been done poorly with Masters of Teras Kasi, but I think a Star Wars fighting game could work if done correctly. The Star Wars Characters were a nice addition to the Soul Calibur games, but I want to seem the same kind of concept with solely Star Wars Characters.

A Darth Vader Game: The Darth Vader mission was probably my favorite part of The Force Unleashed so it would be fun to have that as a full game

A Darth Maul Game: Darth Maul’s stock is rising thanks to his appearances in Clone Wars and Rebels and he has always been my favorite part of the prequels so I think it would be fun to play as him. Maybe even combine the Darth Vader game with this with a storyline that brings them together and some decent co-op.

A Boba Fett Game: Another Star Wars villain I would like to take the role of. Jango Fett got his own game with Bounty Hunter, but I think it’s time the younger Fett had his own game.

A Han Solo Game: With the Han Solo movie about two years away I think now would be a good time to start developing a solo Han Solo game(see what I did there). It would obviously be a tie-in to the movie, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. If done right, with an original story, and maybe some missions were you either play as Chewbacca and Lando or with them(perhaps co-op?) I think a first-person shooter with the potential to team-up with Chewie or Lando for Co-op has some potential

A Star Wars: Demolition sequel: For those of you who haven’t played it Star Wars Demolition it’s kind of like Star Wars meets Twisted Metal with different vehicles from Star Wars doing combat in illegal demolition derby-type fights. I realize not everyone liked the original game, which is dated now, but I think it would be a fun game to resurrect if only for the chance to include the Millennium Falcon on the roster of playable vehicles.

A Sequel to Jedi Power Battles: Another sequel to a somewhat obscure Star Wars Game. The original Jedi Power battles allowed you to play as Jedi: Mace Windu,Qui-jon Jinn, Adi Galia, Plo Koon, and Obi-wan Kenobi in a storyline that followed the events of Episode I. I would like to see a sequel with an original story, mostly likely set during the clone wars, and a more robust cast, maybe including Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura, Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, and perhaps even Yoda.

*Update:

Star Wars: Galactic Warriors: The Dynasty Warriors formula has already been used for other franchises like Zelda(Hyrule Warriors) and One Piece(One Piece: Pirate Warriors) and I think Star Wars would be a great fit with you being able to take control of Jedi Knights during the clone wars

Anyways those are some of my ideas for Star Wars games. What games would you like to see?

Weekly Comic Pull List:

What I picked up last week:

Star Wars:Darth Maul #1: I didn’t really mean to pick this one up, but they added it to my pull at the comic story because I’ve been getting most of the Star Wars book. I wasn’t too impressed with it. It kind of seemed like a retread of the Star Wars novel Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter.

Star Wars #28: It was a surprise to see a new issue of Star Wars so soon after the last one, but I did enjoy this issue so it was a good surprise

What I will be picking up:

All-star Batman #7: This is probably my favorite current Batman series. I loved Scott Snyder’s most recent run on the main Batman series so it’s nice to see him continue with the character even though he’s no longer writing the main series.

Detective Comics #950: It’s  a double dose of Batman this week with a extra-sized 950th issue of Detective Comics. Good thing I’m such a big fan of Batman

Post-end Poem:

The Warrior

The moonlight glistens

on his blood-stained sword.

War and death consume him.

A guttural war cry

reverberates from his throat.

He charges

Through the corpse-strewn field,

Overtaken by blood lust and battle

.

He slashes through his enemies,

their blood covering the charred grass.

An arrow whistles towards him.

He stands in its path, unmoving.

His armor will protect him.

The arrow circumvents his armor

and pierces his heart.

A grunt of pain

escapes him.

He stumbles to the ground.

Tonight he will fight on

the fiery battlefield

of Hell.

4 Star Wars Comics I would like to see

Hey everyone and welcome back. For my handful of readers out there, thanks for reading. Last post I talked about an idea I had for a marvel Defenders comic and I decided to tackle a different Marvel Franchise this week: Star Wars.

I have been a huge fan of the Marvel Star Wars line, picking up pretty much every ongoing and mini-series, but there are a few series I would like to see. Let me know what you think of my picks and what Star Wars Comics you would like to see. Here they are in no particular order.

Boba Fett(mini-series): I’m surprised there hasn’t been a boba fett series since Marvel started publishing the Star Wars comics two years ago, but I feel like it’s only a matter of time. I could see an ongoing series happening, but I would rather see a mini-series featuring everyone’s favorite bounty hunter. Perhaps one taking place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi

Bounty Hunters(ongoing): Speaking of Bounty Hunter; Star Wars has a rich roster of bounty hunter besides just Boba fett and I would like to see an ongoing team book that pairs up some of the worst bounty hunting scum. I would like to see classic bounty hunters like Bossk, Dengar and IG-88 along with new creations such as Black Krrstan(from the Darth Vader and Doctor Aphra comics) and Chanath Cha(from the Lando mini-series) and maybe Aurra Sing. Boba Fett could be a guest star, but I would like the spotlight to stay on the lesser-known Bounty Hunters.  I think the series should be set after Return of the Jedi to explore what happens to the Bounty Hunters after the fall of the Empire

Wedge Antilles(mini-series): Besides Lando I was probably most disappointed that Wedge didn’t make an appearance in The Force Awakens. I feel like he’s an underappreciated character that I would like to see more of.  A Wedge series might be a little to close in concept to the ongoing Poe Dameron series, but I think it would also have the potential to be a good spy-thriller story with Wedge sent to infiltrate the Empire before the events of A New Hope

Mace Windu(mini-series): Even though he’s dead there’s no reason Mace Windu can’t still feature in the comics. I would like to see a mini-series featuring one of his adventures between Episodes I and II. Maybe even have him partner up with Yoda.

What do you guys think of my choices?

Weekly Comic Pull List:

Speaking of comics, here are the comics I will be picking up this week.

What I picked up last week:

Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #3: Probably my least favorite of the star wars series. I’m not sure if I will pick up the next issue

Trinity #5: I’m interested to see how this initial story arc will end, but I’m not sure if I will keep reading beyond that

U.S.Avengers #2: The second issue was just as good as the first and Golden Skull makes for a great villain

X-files #10: I keep on wanting to stop reading this series, but every issues just seems to pull me back in.

What I will be picking up this week:

Star Wars #27: Speaking of Star Wars comics, this is probably my favorite one being published right now.

Infamous Iron Man #4: This is another book I’m on the fence about, but I’ll give it another shot to see what they do with the Victor von Doom character, one of my favorite villains

Detective Comics#949

Post end Poem:

Decreation

The scorched black

sphere that was

the Earth

hangs insensately in the vast void of space

It’s destruction

came with millions of booms

which rescinded into

a long-winded whimper.

Last man walks on the

ashen sand of the Sahara Desert,

his feet pressing deeply into the coarse ground

Heat reaches up

for him like an ancient nemesis

trying to strangle him,

but he pulls back from the deadly embrace,

He seeks to leave the decaying world

and the countless bodies

discarded from thousands of

battles.

Their lifeless faces taunt him

from all directions

One day he will

remember this horrific moment

and cry out

until his vocal cord ruptures

and he is mute.

Man and Death sigh in unison,

contemplating the tragic misunderstanding

which led them here.

He steals another

deep breath,

and let’s the silence return.

He is just another

lost spirit

in the saga

of creation.

Introductory Post

Hello Internet,

My name is Tim Miller. This is my first post on WordPress, but I am by no means new to blogging. For many years  I was a blogger on the IGN Blogs/.MyIGN, but with a new year I thought I would try starting a new blog. It will feature a lot of my similar stuff to my
old blog , just in a different place, so mostly entertainment stuff with a heavy dose of Arrested Development as the blog title is Blog of an Arrested Development Fan.

A little bit about me: I’m 26 from Missoula, Montana. I’m a huge fan of Arrested Development, Star Wars, and Batman among other things. I’m an aspiring writer and I also recently started doing stand-up comedy which I’m really starting to enjoy.

This is a new blog, but I’m still going to do some of the same features I did on my old blog. One such feature was called Future Installmentswhere I created a wishlist for a future installment in a game, movie, tv, or even comic franchise.

I just recently finished up Season 1 of the The Telltale Batman Series and while nothing has been officially announced I’m assuming  a season 2 will happen and here are a few things I want to see in Batman; The Telltale Series Season 2

Returning Villains: The interactions with Selina were some of my favorite parts the first season and I would like to see that relationship continue. They set up Joker nicely as a dangling thread from Season 1 so I would be surprised if they don’t do anything with it. The also left it open for Two-face, Penguin and Lady Arkham to return, but I don’t care as much about  them. I feel like they got covered pretty well in the first season

New Villains: I do like the fact they introduced Lady Arkham as a new character in the first season and I would like to see maybe a new one for Season 2, but I would also like to see classic Batman villains such as Riddler and Mr. Freeze make an appearance. I have a feeling Ras al Ghul and the League of Shadows is probably connected to Lady Arkham and the Children of Arkham so he would probably play a decent role in the story. One of my personal favorite villains that I feel like doesn’t get a lot of justice is Hush, so I wouldn’t mind seeing him play a role.

Robin: I know some are you are probably scoffing at the inclusion of Robin, but I think he is a big part of the Batman mythos and should not be overlooked. The first season takes place early in Batman’s career so I could see season 2 having him meet Dick Grayson, the first Robin

Continue to Provide new takes on the story: One of the things I enjoyed about Season 1 was there willingness to change some parts of the Batman Mythos such as Vicki Vale being Lady Arkham, Harvey Dent not necessarily being scarred, and a more personal connection between Bruce Wayne and Oswald Cobblepot. I would like that to continue in Season 2.  One of the most memorable moments in the first season was the choice to save Harvey from being disfigured at Penguin’s hands. It provided a chance to change established continuity. I think, if Robin is included, a similar decision can be made where you can either save the Flying Grayson(Dick’s family) or not and see how that would alter the timeline and the Batman/Robin dynamic or even if it would even exist.

Anyways those are some of my thoughts for  Batman: The Telltale Series Season 2. What do you guys think and what would you like to see?

Latest Stand-up Video: I mentioned I was a stand-up comedian so I think I might try and post my latest set at the end of each post

Weekly Comedy Pull List: Since I plan on doing one post a week, usually on Sundays(no promises though) I thought I would give you guys a preview of what  comics I will be picking up this week.

What I got Last WeeK:

USAvengers #1: I’ve been looking for a marvel team book to read so I thought I would try this new series out. I enjoyed the first issue and will probably pick up at least the second issue

Klaus and the Witch of Winter: I picked up this one-shot because I really liked the mini-series, but I felt like there was a little lacking. I think there is more story to discover in the Klaus universe though.

X-files #9: I read this series mostly out of habit, but it does seem to keep sucking me back in

What I will Pick up this week:

Detective Comics #946: I’m definitely enjoying this current run of Detective Comics

All-star Batman #6:  Another great Batman series. I’m excited for the start of the Mr. Freeze story arc

Poe Dameron #10: This is probably my second favorite ongoing Star Wars Series after the main one(RIP Darth Vader). It kind of makes me wish there were more  Force Awaken-era series

What I might pick up this week:

Obi-wan and Anakin #1:  I’m not sure about this one. It is a mini-series and I do like Star Wars, I just don’t know if I want a Prequel trilogy-era comic.

That’s what I’m picking up. What about you guys.

Post-end Poem: I’ve written a few poems here and there and I thought I would share them with you guys to cap off my post. Let me know what you think.

Creation of the Poem

The poem came first,

embedded in the soul

of the poet.

It sprang from him,

like an uncaged beast.

He let it pour out

and began to write feverishly.

Stillborn drafts

piled on the floor.

From deep inside his being

the words leapt

Finally, he set his pen down,

and let out an exasperated sigh,

satisfied with the new creation.

Currently:

That does it for me. As always, thanks for reading and all comments are welcome and appreciated
